Botia almorhae, or Yoyo loach, has other more popular names: Almora loach and Pakistani loach. It originates from calm, slow-flowing waters in the Ganges river basin, India , Nepal, and Bangladesh. Uniquely, this type of loach fish has a similar gender to distinguish it from the different body shapes. The male body shape is slimmer than that of the very fat female.
